Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for some new sandals. You know, summer’s rolling in, and my old ones are totally beat. Plus, I need a wide fit, which always makes things a bit trickier. Size 9 wide, that’s my jam. I started by just hitting up Google, typing in “women’s sandals size 9 wide” to see what would pop up.
First thing I noticed was a bunch of different brands. There’s this one called “CUSHIONAIRE” that kept coming up. They have these sandals with memory foam insoles and something called “LiteSole Technology.” Sounds comfy, right? They had them in a few colors, black, purple, navy, silver, and white. I do like options. Also came across another brand called “Alicegana”, their sandals seemed more casual and they have a pair with a non-slip sole for $29.99 and a brand called “Kuailu” that had flip flops also in size 9. I definitely need something that won’t have me slipping and sliding everywhere, especially on the beach.
Then I remembered Macy’s. They always have a good selection, so I went down that rabbit hole. Looked at their wide-width section. Yep, they had tons. Everything from flats to wedges to heels. I love a good heel, but for everyday wear, I’m thinking flats or a small wedge.
After Macy’s, I stumbled upon Sam Edelman’s site. Now, these were a bit pricier, but they had some really stylish wide-width sandals. Free shipping and returns, though, so that’s a plus. I’m always hesitant to order shoes online, but knowing I can return them easily makes it less scary.
Narrowing It Down
I saw some other brands like “Luoika” which had these wide-width flat slides. And this other site that had extra-wide sandals with all sorts of designs – perforated patterns, metal embellishments, floral stuff. Pretty, but maybe a bit too much for me. I prefer simple and classic.
- CUSHIONAIRE: Memory foam sounds amazing.
- Macy’s: Huge selection, always a good bet.
- Sam Edelman: Stylish but pricier.
- Other brands: Luoika, Alicegana, Kuailu, some with fun designs but maybe not my style.
I browsed a site that specialized in wide-fit shoes, and their sandals ranged from $38.39 to $181.99, so a pretty wide price range. I also found another site that was advertising free shipping both ways on sandals in my size, and they emphasized fast delivery, which is always a bonus when you’re eager to get your new shoes!
Honestly, I spent hours looking. My eyes started to glaze over after a while. But I think I’ve narrowed it down to a few good options. I’m leaning towards something from CUSHIONAIRE or maybe Macy’s. Comfort is key for me, but I also want them to look decent.
I ended up grabbing a pair of black flat sandals from CUSHIONAIRE. They were on sale, and with the memory foam insole, I figured they’d be super comfy. Plus, black goes with everything. I just placed the order, so fingers crossed they fit well and are as comfortable as they sound!
I’ll definitely update once they arrive. Shoe shopping online is always a bit of a gamble, but hopefully, this one pays off. Wish me luck!
