Alright, let’s yak about them womens wide calf high heel boots, ya know, the ones for us gals with, uh, sturdy legs. Not them skinny little twigs, but real legs, the kind that’ve carried us through fields and chased after grandkids.
Now, I ain’t no fancy fashion expert, mind you. I just know what feels right and what don’t. And tight boots? Those are a big ol’ DON’T. Makes your legs feel like sausages stuffed in too-small casings, and that ain’t right, no sir.
So, what’s a gal to do if her legs are a bit… fuller? Well, you gotta find yourself some wide calf boots, that’s what. And if you want a bit of a lift, get yourself some with heels. Makes you feel a bit fancier, even if you’re just goin’ to the grocery store.
Them high heel wide calf boots, they ain’t always easy to find, though. Seems like all them stores want you to have legs like toothpicks. But don’t you fret, there are places to get ‘em. I heard tell of some places called “Nordstrom Rack” and “Kohl’s.” They got all sorts of boots, even for us gals with strong legs. And they say you can even send ‘em back if they don’t fit right, which is good, cause nobody wants to be stuck with boots that pinch.
- Look for stretchy stuff: You want boots that give a little, ya know? Like them with elastic or some fancy word like “lycra.” That way, they’ll hug your legs without squeezing the life outta them.
- Wider is better: Don’t be shy about gettin’ boots that are plenty wide. More room is always better than not enough. They say if your calf is 16 inches or more around, you need that wide calf stuff. I ain’t never measured my legs, but I know they ain’t small!
- Measure up: If you’re the measurin’ type, go ahead and wrap a tape around the thickest part of your calf. That’ll tell ya what size you need. Or, if you got an old pair of boots that fit good, measure around the inside of them. Smart, huh?
Now, about them heels. I ain’t talkin’ about them sky-high stilettos that’ll break your ankle just lookin’ at ‘em. I’m talkin’ about a nice, sensible heel. Enough to give you a little height, but not so much that you can’t walk to the mailbox without wobblin’. Some of them boots got chunky heels, which are good for walkin’ on uneven ground. And some have those pointy toes, which I ain’t too fond of, but some folks like ‘em.
And don’t forget about zippers! Boots with zippers on the side are a godsend. Makes gettin’ them on and off a whole lot easier. Nothin’ worse than fightin’ with a boot when you’re in a hurry. I remember one time, I was tryin’ to get on a pair of them pull-on boots, and I got stuck! Had to holler for my daughter to come help me yank ‘em off. Embarrassin’, I tell ya.
Them womens wide calf knee high boots, they can make your legs look longer too. That’s what they say, anyways. I don’t know about all that, but I do know they can keep your legs warm in the winter. And that’s important, especially when the wind is blowin’ and the snow is flyin’. You don’t want your legs freezin’ off, do ya?
There are different kinds of tall boots too. Some go all the way up to your knee, and some even go over the knee. I ain’t sure about them over-the-knee ones. Seems like a lot of fuss to me. But to each their own, I always say.
And the colors! Lordy, there are so many colors to choose from. Black, brown, gray, even red and blue! I’m partial to black myself. Goes with everything, ya know? But a nice brown boot is good too. Matches my old coat real nice.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some good womens wide calf high heel boots, don’t give up hope. They’re out there, you just gotta know what to look for. Remember what I told ya: stretchy stuff, plenty of width, zippers, and a heel you can walk in. And don’t be afraid to try on a bunch of different pairs until you find the ones that feel just right. Your feet and legs will thank you for it.
And don’t worry about what them skinny gals in the magazines say. Real women have curves, and real women need boots that fit those curves. So go on out there and find yourself some boots that make you feel good and look good. You deserve it!
And one more thing, them boots with the straps, they look kinda fancy too. Saw some at the store the other day, GLOBALWIN Women’s Strappy somethin’ or other. Looked real nice, but I didn’t try ’em on. Maybe next time.
And the prices! Some of them boots cost an arm and a leg! But you can find some good deals too, especially if you shop around. And remember, comfort is more important than fashion. You don’t want to be walkin’ around in boots that hurt your feet all day. That ain’t no fun.
Anyways, that’s all I know about boots. Hope it helps ya find what you’re lookin’ for. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Got a hankerin’ for some fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
