So, today’s little project is all about that “all a dream pink perfume.” Sounds dreamy, right? Well, let me tell you, getting there was a bit of a journey.
First, I tried to figure out what exactly this perfume was all about. I browsed through a bunch of descriptions online. It is a 2018 product. Some called it “creamy-fresh,” others mentioned “fruity floral.” There was a lot of talk about pink dragonfruit, sugared petals, and chantilly cream. Honestly, it sounded delicious, not gonna lie. And the bottle looked really cute, very girly and, you know, pink!
Then, I tried to create that. I don’t know what to use. I found some materials to get the smell I want. I decided to start with the pink dragonfruit since that seemed to be the star of the show. I got my hands on some actual dragonfruit. I mixed it with a little bit of alcohol.
- Mixed Dragonfruit and alcohol.
- Added some sweet, floral-smelling stuff.
- Tried to get that creamy scent with… something.
I added something to get some sweet, floral smells into the mix. I crushed some rose petals and added some sugar to them. I even tried a bit of vanilla extract to get that creamy, Chantilly vibe, because why not?
Let it sit for a few hours. Honestly, the whole place smelled like a candy shop exploded, but in a good way, I guess. Then I tried to strain the mixture, get rid of all the chunky bits. I’m not sure about the result. It is what it is. It’s definitely fruity and sweet, and there’s a little bit of that creamy thing going on.
So, is it exactly like the original “all a dream pink perfume”? Probably not. But hey, I made something that smells pretty nice, and I had fun doing it. Plus, my room smells amazing right now, so that’s a win. Next time, maybe I’ll experiment a bit more. Maybe try some different flowers, or maybe just buy the actual perfume, haha.
