Okay, so, today I tried to create a new look – “Amina Blue Naked”.
I started by looking for some inspiration online. I found a bunch of pictures of this model, Amina Blue. She’s got this cool, edgy vibe, and she’s not afraid to show some skin. I scrolled through a ton of pictures, trying to get a feel for her style. She’s in a lot of, like, really minimalist settings, lots of plain backgrounds. So, that gave me some ideas.
Next, I cleared out a space in my apartment. I wanted to get that same kind of bare, simple background she’s often photographed in. I moved some furniture around, took down some pictures, just to get a plain white wall as my backdrop. It was more work than I thought, honestly, but hey, gotta commit to the vision, right?
Then, the tricky part – the outfit, or, well, lack thereof. The idea was “naked”, but I still wanted to, you know, keep it somewhat tasteful, even if it’s just for me. I decided to go with some strategically placed accessories. I grabbed a few of my favorite necklaces and bracelets, some chunky rings, too. The idea was to draw attention to certain areas, create some visual interest, without actually wearing clothes.
I also played around with my hair and makeup. I went for a messy, undone look with my hair – kind of like I just rolled out of bed, but in a sexy way. For makeup, I kept it pretty minimal – some bronzer, a little bit of highlighter, and a nude lip. Just enough to enhance my features, but not too much.
Setting up the Shot
- I set up my phone on a tripod.
- I used the self-timer function.
- I posed in front of the white wall, trying out different angles and positions. I took inspiration from the pictures of Amina Blue I’d seen earlier.
I took a bunch of pictures, experimenting with different lighting, too. I tried some with natural light from the window, and some with just the overhead lights in my apartment. It was a lot of trial and error, figuring out what looked best.
After a couple of hours, I finally got a few shots that I was happy with. They’re definitely not perfect, but I think I captured the essence of the “Amina Blue Naked” look. It was a fun little project, and it was cool to step outside of my comfort zone a bit. Plus, I got some new pictures for my private collection. Overall, I’d say it was a successful experiment.
But man, I’m tired now. Gonna take a break. Maybe I’ll try another look tomorrow, who knows?
