Okay, here is my sharing about “womens extra wide slip on sneakers”.
I’ve always had a heck of a time finding shoes that fit right. My feet are wider than average, and most regular shoes, especially sneakers, feel like they’re squeezing the life out of my feet. So, I finally decided to do something about it, and I got to work trying to find some good slip-on sneakers that would actually work for me.
First, I hit up the internet, just browsing around to see what was out there. I typed in things like “extra wide slip on sneakers for women” and “comfortable slip on shoes for wide feet”. I found out that wide shoes are 1/4” wider than regular, and extra wide is 1/2” wider! Man, I should have done this ages ago. I learned there are different types of slip-ons like loafers, moccasins, espadrilles, and sneakers. Then, I started checking out some brands that people were saying had good wide options. Names like New Balance, Skechers, and Clarks kept popping up, so I made a note of those.
Next, I wanted to get a better feel for what styles were available. I spent a good chunk of time just looking at pictures of different shoes online. I saw everything from sporty-looking sneakers to more casual, everyday styles. I even found some that looked kind of dressy, which was cool. I also read a bunch of reviews from other women with wide feet. It was super helpful to hear about their experiences with different brands and styles. Some of them talked about having foot swelling or some symptom called edema, and they mentioned measuring their instep. I guess that’s important too.
- Looked for shoes labeled “wide” or “extra wide”.
- Checked out brands like New Balance, Skechers, and Clarks.
- Explored different slip-on styles: loafers, moccasins, espadrilles, sneakers.
- Considered reviews from other women with wide feet.
Trying Them Out
After I had a good idea of what I was looking for, I decided to actually try some shoes on. I went to a few different stores that carried the brands I had researched. It was kind of a hassle, but it was worth it to be able to try the shoes on in person. I tried on a bunch of different pairs, and I quickly realized that even within the “wide” category, there were still some big differences in fit. Some shoes were definitely wider than others. Some of them are slip-on sneakers for flat feet with arch support from the brand FitVille. And I also tried the shoes from the brand Slow Man, their sock sneakers are wide and soft. I’m not sure if the translation of this brand’s name is correct or not, haha.
It took some time, but I finally found a few pairs that felt really comfortable. They had plenty of room in the toe box, and they didn’t feel tight or constricting at all. I also made sure they had good arch support, since I tend to get sore feet if I don’t have enough support. I ended up buying two pairs of sneakers that I really liked. They were both slip-on styles, which is what I was looking for, and they were both super comfortable. Now I can’t wait to try more different kinds of slip-ons.
It took a bit of work, but I’m so glad I finally found some slip-on sneakers that work for my wide feet. My feet are happy, and that’s all that matters! If you’re in the same boat, don’t give up! There are definitely good options out there. I’m thinking about making this a regular thing, trying out different shoes and sharing my thoughts. Maybe next time I’ll check out some sandals or something. We’ll see!
