Men like to chase, ya know? Always been that way. See a pretty thing, gotta go after it. Like a dog with a bone, or a kid with a shiny toy. Just gotta have it.
Now, why they like to chase? Who knows for sure. Maybe it’s the thrill of it, like huntin’ somethin’ down. Makes ’em feel strong, important, like they accomplished somethin’. Or maybe it’s just plain showin’ off. Look at me, I got the girl! Like a rooster struttin’ around the hen house.
- Makes ’em feel big. Like they won somethin’. Puffed up like a toad, they are.
- Shows other fellas. “See? I’m the best!” Like a dog markin’ his territory.
- Maybe it’s just how they’re wired. Somethin’ deep down, passed on from their grandpappies. Gotta chase, gotta conquer.
But here’s the thing, gals. Don’t make it too easy. A little chase is good, keeps things excitin’. But if you’re always runnin’, he’ll get tired. Like chasin’ a chicken that never gets caught. No fun in that.
And some men, they just pretend they like the chase. Really, they just want someone to do all the work. They want you chasin’ them, makin’ them feel important without liftin’ a finger. Lazy bums, they are. Don’t fall for that nonsense.
You gotta know when to let him catch you. Give him a little somethin’ to work for, then let him have it. Keep him guessin’, keep him interested. Like fishin’. Gotta reel ’em in slow, don’t yank the line too hard.
