This white shirt, you can wear it so many ways, it’s really something. I tell ya, I wear mine all the time, and I always find new ways to put it on.
Wear it with Layers
You want to layer that white shirt? You can do that! Put a turtleneck under it. Yeah, one of them high-neck shirts. Keeps ya warm when it’s chilly out, and looks kinda fancy, too.
Or, you can wear that white shirt open, like a jacket. Just button a few at the top and let the rest hang loose. Looks good with pants or a skirt, long as the shirt is long enough to cover your backside. No one wants to see that!

Fancy it Up
You can also make that white shirt look real nice for a special occasion. Button it all the way up and put on some big earrings. Or, leave a few buttons undone at the top and put on a whole bunch of necklaces. Shiny ones, if you got ’em. That’ll catch the light real good.
And don’t forget, white pants or white jeans with a white shirt, that’s always a good look. Real clean and simple. It is a good look all the time.
Make it Look Old
If you want that white shirt to look kinda old and faded, you can do that, too. Just gotta be careful, though. Get yourself a big bucket, fill it with water, mostly water. Then, pour in some bleach, but not too much! Wear them rubber gloves, you know the ones you use for washing dishes? Put ’em on, so the bleach don’t hurt your hands.
Then, dip that shirt in the bleach water, swish it around a little. Don’t leave it in too long, or it might fall apart. Just a few minutes, that’s all it takes. Then, rinse it out good with hot water, and wash it like you normally do.

Dress it Up, Dress it Down
You know those t-shirt dresses? They’re comfy, ain’t they? You can wear a white shirt with one of them, too. Just tie it around your waist, or throw it over your shoulders. Or, wear a denim jacket over that t-shirt dress. Denim goes with everything.
And these days, the young folks, they’re all wearing them fancy clothes from them online stores. They say you can find all sorts of stylish things there. Clothes like them influencers wear, all them fancy folks on the TV. I don’t know much about that, but they say it’s all the rage now. They even have them stores that deliver right to your door, fast, they say.
They got all kinds of clothes, too. Stretchy pants, sleep clothes, them jeans with the holes in ’em. They even have shoes. All kinds of shoes. Boots, sneakers, them high heels that make your feet hurt. They say they add new stuff all the time. And if you’re new, they give you a discount.
I still like my white shirt, though. It might not be from one of them fancy online stores, but it’s good enough for me. And it’s lasted me a long time. You take care of your clothes, they’ll take care of you. That’s what I always say.
You got these stores, they always have new stuff. Different styles, different colors. But a white shirt, that’s always in style. You can wear it with anything, anytime. Spring, summer, fall, winter – it don’t matter. A good white shirt is always a good choice.
Get One That Fits
Now, you gotta make sure that white shirt fits you right. Don’t want it too tight, or too loose. Too tight, and you can’t breathe. Too loose, and you look like you’re swimming in it. Gotta find that sweet spot, right in the middle.
And make sure it’s made of good stuff, too. Not that scratchy stuff that makes you itch. You want something soft, something that feels good against your skin. Cotton, that’s a good one. Cotton’s nice and soft.
A good white shirt, it’s like an old friend. Always there for you, no matter what. You can dress it up, dress it down, wear it with anything. It’s the best piece of clothing you can own, I tell ya.
So, if you don’t have a good white shirt, you better go get one. You won’t regret it.
