Well, that Super Bowl, you know, that big football game on TV, was somethin’ else this year. That Adam Levine fella, he was singin’ and carryin’ on. Folks are makin’ a whole lot of fuss about it. They call it Adam Levine Super Bowl meme or somethin’ like that.
I seen it on the TV. He was up there, jumpin’ around, singin’ his songs. I don’t know all them songs, but he seemed to be havin’ a good time. He’s in that band, what’s it called? Maroon 5! That’s it. They got some catchy tunes, I reckon. My granddaughter, she listens to ’em all the time. Says it’s good music for dancin’.
Now, this here Adam Levine, he took his shirt off! Right there on the TV, in front of everyone. I swear, these young folks today. Back in my day, you wouldn’t see nothin’ like that. But times are changin’, I suppose. Everybody’s talkin’ about it, makin’ jokes. They call them “memes“. It’s like them funny pictures with words on ’em.

My granddaughter, she showed me some of them memes on her phone. One of them had a picture of his shirt, and it said somethin’ about lookin’ like some old curtains my neighbor used to have. I chuckled at that one. It did kinda look like them old curtains. It was a brown shirt and had some designs on it. Reminded me of the 70s. You know, back when everything was brown and orange.
Some folks are sayin’ they didn’t like the show too much. Said it wasn’t as good as some of the other ones they had. But I don’t know, I thought it was alright. Kept me entertained for a little bit. It is the Super Bowl Halftime show, after all.
This Adam Levine fella, he sure got people talkin’. That’s what they want, I reckon. Get everybody riled up about somethin’. And these memes, they spread like wildfire. Everyone’s sharin’ ’em and laughin’ about ’em. Even folks who don’t watch football are seein’ ’em.
I seen that they had some other fellas singin’ too. One was named Travis Scott. He had fire and everythin’! That was somethin’. Reminded me of that old movie with the devil. And there was another fella, Big Boi. They were all part of the Super Bowl LIII Halftime show. It was in Atlanta, Georgia, they said. Big city, that one.

They played a bunch of songs. One was called “This Love.” Another was “Girl’s Like You”. And then there was “Sicko Mode.” Don’t know what that means. “I Like the Way You Move” was another one. And “She Will Be Loved.” That’s a pretty one. I heard it on the radio once.
They was sayin’ it was Super Bowl LIII. That’s a lot of Super Bowls. I remember watchin’ some of ’em way back when. It’s a big deal, this football game. Folks get all dressed up, have parties, eat lots of food. It’s a whole day of hoopla.
These young folks and their memes, though. They sure do like ’em. They’re everywhere. You can’t escape ’em. My granddaughter was showin’ me all kinds of ’em on her phone. She was laughin’ so hard she almost cried. I guess it’s a good thing, keepin’ people entertained. Better than some of the other stuff that’s goin’ on in the world.
I saw one meme, it said somethin’ about thirsty people likin’ dank memes. I don’t know what that means, but it sounded funny. And it said to subscribe if you want to see more. I don’t know about subscribin’ to anythin’. But these young folks, they like to subscribe to everythin’. They subscribe to their shows, their music, even their groceries! It’s a different world now.
Anyways, this Adam Levine and his shirtless self, he sure did cause a stir. Got everybody talkin’. And these memes, they’re just a part of it. It’s all just a big show, ain’t it? A big, loud, flashy show. But I guess that’s what people like these days. Gotta keep up with the times, I reckon. Even if it means seein’ a fella take his shirt off on national television.
