Today was a bit of a wild ride, folks. I decided to dive into this whole “Day of the Witches” thing, and let me tell you, it was something else.
First off, I got up early, before the sun even thought about showing its face. I made myself a strong cup of coffee – needed that caffeine kick to get going. Then, I gathered all the stuff I thought I’d need: candles, some weird herbs I found online, a notebook to jot down my thoughts, and, of course, my lucky crystal. Don’t judge, we all have our quirks, right?
I set up my little “witchy” area in the living room. Dimmed the lights, lit the candles, and tried to create a spooky atmosphere. It felt a bit silly at first, but hey, I was committed.
- Lighted the candles
- Arranged the herbs in a circle – no idea if I did it right, but it looked cool
- Held my crystal and tried to “feel the energy” or whatever
- Wrote down some intentions in my notebook – basically, stuff I wanted to manifest or whatever
Then came the weird part. I tried to do a meditation thing, following some instructions I found online. I mean to follow the video to do that. It involved a lot of deep breathing and visualizing, which wasn’t really my thing, but I gave it a shot. Honestly, I mostly just felt like I was going to fall asleep. Also, I opened my eyes several times to check if I did it right.
After that, I did a little ritual where I burned a piece of paper with my intentions written on it. That was kind of cool, watching the flames eat up the paper. I imagined all my desires going up in smoke and into the universe. Cheesy, I know, but it felt powerful in the moment.
Did It Work?
Well, it’s too early to say if any of my wishes will come true. But I have to admit, the whole experience was pretty interesting. It was a nice change of pace from my usual routine, and it got me thinking about what I really want in life. Plus, my living room smelled like a weird mix of herbs and burnt paper, which was kind of unique. But I opened the windows finally.
Would I do it again? Maybe. It was definitely an experience. And who knows, maybe there’s something to this whole “Day of the Witches” thing after all. If nothing else, it made for a good story to tell. But next time, I think I would invite my friends to do this together. It would be more fun. I believe.
