Alright, so you wanna know about this ClassPass thing in Baltimore, huh? Lemme tell ya, it’s like this… you get yourself a pass, and then you can go to all sorts of places to get your sweat on. Don’t rightly know how it all works with the computery stuff, but my niece showed me, and it seems simple enough.
First off, they got all kinds of places. You like to dance? They got dance studios. You wanna pump some iron? They got gyms. Yoga? Yep, they got that too. Even that fancy Pilates stuff, where you lay on them weird machines. My joints ain’t what they used to be, so I stick to the easy stuff, but hey, to each their own, right?
Now, I heard tell this ClassPass lets you go to classes all over the world, not just Baltimore. Imagine that! One day you’re sweatin’ it out in Baltimore, the next you’re doin’ the same thing in some foreign country. Sounds plumb crazy to me, but folks these days do all sorts of strange things.
What kinda places can you find in Baltimore with this ClassPass? Well, there’s this place called Resistance Cycle, sounds like they got bikes you pedal real hard. People say it’s the best spin studio in town. Located down by the Harbor, so you can get a nice view while you’re workin’ out. And they say it’s good for everyone, big or small, young or old. That’s nice, ain’t it?
- They got dance studios, if you like to shake your booty.
- Gyms, for liftin’ weights and gettin’ strong.
- Yoga studios, for stretchin’ and breathin’.
- Pilates, for that fancy core work. Never tried it myself.
- HIIT studios, whatever that is. Sounds like a lot of huffin’ and puffin’.
- And even strength training classes, if you wanna get real tough.
And they got different kinds of Yoga too! Like, Hatha Yoga, and Hot Yoga. Hot Yoga, imagine that! Sweatin’ in a room hotter than a summer day in July. Not for me, thank you very much.
I heard tell they even got some places downtown, in Fells Point. Reformer Pilates, they call it. And more of that Hot Yoga. Must be popular with the young folks, all that sweatin’.
Now, some folks like to read reviews before they try a place. You know, see what other people thought. They say you can find reviews for these ClassPass places online. People talkin’ about the teachers, the music, how hard the class is. One lady named Blair, they say her class is real good. Keeps you movin’ and motivated, whatever that means.
And if you’re looking to get strong, they got these strength training classes. Top 10 in Baltimore, they say. I reckon that means they’re pretty good. You can read reviews about them too, find out which one is right for you.
So, this ClassPass thing seems like a good deal, if you like to try different kinds of exercise. You ain’t stuck in one place, you can go all over Baltimore, try all sorts of things. Just gotta figure out how to use the app, which is probably the hardest part for an old gal like me. But hey, if I can do it, you can too.
This Mindbody company, they bought ClassPass. Spent a whole lotta money, five hundred million dollars they say. Must be a good business, all this exercisin’. Folks wanna stay healthy, I guess. Can’t say I blame ’em.
So, there you have it. Everything I know about ClassPass in Baltimore. Go on, get yourself a pass and get movin’! It’ll do ya good, even if you just end up doin’ some gentle stretches like me.
