Okay, here is my experience sharing about Armani Silk Foundation 6.5:
Alright, so I’ve been messing around with makeup for a while now, and I finally got my hands on the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I went with shade 6.5 ’cause, you know, gotta match that skin tone! I heard many good words about it, so I decided to give it a try.
First off, I prepped my skin. I did my usual skincare routine and used a hydrating primer to make sure my skin was nice and smooth. Then, I grabbed my foundation brush. I’ve tried using a sponge before, but I feel like a brush gives me better control, no offense to sponges. I shook the bottle a bit. I pumped out a bit of the foundation onto the back of my hand. I start from the center of my face and blend it outwards. I like to do thin layers, you know, to build it up gradually.
Application
- Prep: Skincare, then a hydrating primer.
- Tool: I used my trusty foundation brush.
- Technique: Started from the center, blending outwards in thin layers.
I gotta say, this foundation is pretty lightweight. It felt like I barely had anything on my face. I did about two layers on my cheeks where I have some redness. The coverage was decent, not too heavy, but it evened out my skin tone nicely. I noticed that it gave me this subtle glow, which is always a plus. This thing is famous for its glow, right?
I set everything with a light dusting of translucent powder, focusing on my T-zone ’cause that’s where I get oily. Then I finished up the rest of my makeup – you know, the usual, blush, bronzer, brows, a bit of eyeshadow, and some mascara.
Results
- Feel: Super lightweight, like I had nothing on.
- Coverage: Medium, enough to even out my redness.
- Finish: Gave me a subtle, healthy glow. Just as expected!
Throughout the day, I checked in on how the foundation was holding up. It did pretty well! It didn’t get cakey or anything, even after a few hours. I noticed a bit of shine on my nose, but nothing too crazy. I blotted a bit with some tissue, and it was all good.
By the end of the day, my makeup still looked pretty fresh. The foundation didn’t really fade or anything. And my skin still had that nice, subtle glow. I used a cleansing balm to take it all off, and it came off pretty easily. No need for some crazy scrubbing!
I’ve tried a bunch of foundations, and this one is definitely up there. It’s not the cheapest, but I think it’s worth it. I’m not saying I use it every day but when I need it, it’s there for me. You know what I’m saying? This foundation is awesome!
It’s got a great, natural-looking finish. I can see why this foundation is so popular. It’s become one of my go-to’s now. Not bad, Armani, not bad at all.
