Alright, so I’ve been seeing these glasses everywhere lately, the ones Andrew Garfield’s been rocking. I got curious and decided to find out what they were and if I could even pull them off.
Digging Around
First thing I did was hit up Google. I typed in something like “Andrew Garfield glasses” and scrolled through the image results. I saw him wearing different styles in various pictures, so I focused on the ones he wore more frequently. I noticed a recurring theme – they were often round, sometimes with a keyhole bridge.
I spent a good chunk of time looking at these images, trying to get a feel for the specific shape and details. It wasn’t just about any round glasses, they had a certain vintage vibe.
Narrowing It Down
After looking at a ton of pictures, I started to form a clearer idea. They seemed to be a mix of classic and modern. I figured out some keywords, like “round”, “tortoiseshell”, “keyhole bridge”, to refine my search.
I went back to searching using these new keywords. This time, the results were more specific. I found similar styles on some eyewear websites, but I wasn’t sure which one was the exact match.
Finding the Match (I think!)
I finally stumbled upon a few forums and blog posts discussing his style. Some folks were debating whether they were Moscot, Oliver Peoples, or some other brand. I spent some more time comparing the glasses in the photos with the ones I found online.
I’m pretty sure I found a close match, or maybe even the exact ones. But they are from various brands, and some of them were way out of my budget.
Trying Them On (Virtually, of Course)
Since I’m not about to drop a ton of cash without knowing if they’d look good on me, I looked for websites that let you virtually try on glasses.
I uploaded a photo of myself and started experimenting. I tried on several similar styles. Some looked okay, others were a definite no-go.
The Verdict
After all this, I think I can sort of pull off the Andrew Garfield look. I haven’t bought a pair yet, but I’m feeling more confident about trying a similar style.
It was a fun little experiment, and it taught me a bit about eyewear styles. Plus, I now have a better idea of what kind of glasses suit my face.
So, that was my adventure into the world of Andrew Garfield’s glasses. I did not find the exactly same glasses. But I found some really cool alternatives. It felt like a mini-investigation! I hope you enjoyed it.
