So, the other day I was feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted to rewatch “American Horror Story.” I mean, who doesn’t love a good scare, right? And let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride going through all the seasons again. But I’m getting ahead of myself. First, I needed to get my hands on the DVDs.
I started my hunt online. You know, the usual places. But I really wanted the complete box set. It’s just not the same binging it on some streaming service. I wanted that physical copy, you know? Something about having the actual DVDs makes it feel more… real, I guess.
I found out that eBay was the place to go. Lots of options there. I scrolled through tons of listings, comparing prices, checking the condition of the box sets. It was a bit of a process, but hey, gotta make sure you’re getting the best deal, right? Some sellers were offering just a few seasons, others had the whole shebang. I was aiming for the latter, obviously.
Eventually, I stumbled upon a listing that seemed perfect. Complete series, good condition, decent price. I double-checked everything, read the seller’s reviews – all that jazz. Seemed legit. So, I took the plunge and placed the order. Waiting for it to arrive was torture, I swear. Every day I was checking the tracking information like a hawk.
Finally, the glorious day arrived. The package was at my doorstep. I ripped that thing open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was, in all its spooky glory – the “American Horror Story” complete DVD box set. The box art itself is pretty cool, you know, with all the creepy imagery. It’s definitely something you’d want to display on your shelf.
- First I watched the “Murder House” season, I prefer to start from here.
- Then I jumped to “Coven”, just for fun.
- Afterward, I finished other seasons.
I popped the first disc in, “Murder House”. And let me tell you, it was even better than I remembered. The atmosphere, the characters, the storylines – it all came flooding back. It’s amazing how this show can be so disturbing and yet so captivating at the same time. I spent the next few days completely immersed in the world of “American Horror Story.”
And you know the best part? The special features on these DVDs are insane. Deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes stuff, interviews with the cast. It’s like a whole other layer to the “American Horror Story” experience. It made me appreciate the show even more, seeing all the work that goes into creating these twisted tales.
I know some people prefer to watch the series in order, but I don’t know. I think it’s more fun to bounce around a bit. Each season is its own self-contained story, so you can really jump in anywhere. Although, I guess starting with “Murder House” does give you a good introduction to the show’s overall vibe. You should pay attention that this is a TV-MA (not suitable for under 17) series. And I’m not just talking about the violence. The language, the, uh, “adult situations” – yeah, it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. There are so many famous stars in this series, like Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau in “Coven”.
Anyway, I’m still making my way through all the seasons, but it’s been a blast so far. If you’re a fan of horror, or just looking for something different to watch, I highly recommend checking out “American Horror Story.” And if you can get your hands on the DVD box set, even better. Trust me, it’s worth it.
So yeah, that’s my little “American Horror Story” adventure. Hope you enjoyed hearing about it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more episodes to watch…
