Okay, so, I’ve been hitting the gym hard lately, trying to get that Tarzan physique. You know, like Alexander Skarsgard in the movie? That guy’s ripped!
It started when I saw “The Legend of Tarzan” a few weeks back. I was pretty blown away by Skarsgard’s transformation. I mean, the dude was seriously jacked. It got me thinking, “Could I maybe, just maybe, get somewhere close to that?” So I started digging around online, you know, just browsing through articles and forums, to see what his workout routine was like.
Turns out, getting that Tarzan body is no joke! From what I read, Skarsgard’s diet was super strict. They mentioned no sugar, no gluten, no wheat, no dairy, and definitely no alcohol. Six small meals a day, too. Sounds brutal, right? But hey, I was committed. So, I cleaned up my diet, cut out all the junk food, and started eating smaller, healthier meals. Let me tell you, saying goodbye to pizza and beer was tough, but I powered through.
Then came the workouts. I found a four-day split routine online that seemed to be inspired by Skarsgard’s training. It involved working out for a day and then resting for a day to let the muscles recover. Sounded good to me, so I gave it a shot.
My Workout Routine
- Day 1: Core day! This was all about the abs. I did planks until I couldn’t plank anymore, then some hollow body holds, and a bunch of scissor kicks. My core was burning by the end!
- Day 2: Obliques day. I did these side plank things and some other exercises that I don’t even know the name of. All I know is my sides were sore for days!
- Day 3 & 4: Just rested and focused on eating clean and getting enough sleep.
I followed this routine for a few weeks. It was tough, but I kept at it. I did each workout twice a day, just like I read Skarsgard did. I was sore pretty much all the time, but I could feel myself getting stronger. I could hold planks for longer, and my obliques started to, well, I could actually see some definition there!
After a while, I started to see some real changes. My muscles were definitely getting bigger, and my core was way stronger than before. I’m not saying I look like Tarzan yet, but I’m definitely feeling better and more confident in my own skin. It’s a work in progress, but I’m going to keep pushing. This Tarzan workout might be tough, but it’s definitely worth it!
