Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “Agent Gold,” and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. It says it’s supposed to help you grow on YouTube, and who doesn’t want that, right? So, I decided to check it out.
First, I had to get off this so-called “waitlist”. Seemed a bit unnecessary, but whatever. I guess it’s supposed to make it feel exclusive or something? Anyway, I finally got in and started poking around.
This thing is powered by AI, which is all the rage these days. It’s supposed to do all sorts of things, like generate titles, descriptions, and even hooks for your videos. Now, I’m no expert, but I know a good title can make or break a video, so I was curious to see what this AI would come up with.
I started feeding it some of my video ideas, just to see what it would spit out. The results were, well, mixed. Some of the titles were okay, nothing to write home about, but definitely usable. Others were a bit too out there, like the AI was trying too hard to be clever. I don’t need any fancy titles here, you know? Just tell me what the video is about.
Then I tried the description generator. Again, some were decent, but some were just way too long and rambling. Like, who’s gonna read all that? People just want the basic information, not a novel. I ended up having to edit them down quite a bit to make them more user-friendly.
One thing I did find helpful, though, was the “new video ideas” feature. I put in some keywords related to my channel’s niche, and it gave me a whole list of potential video topics. Some were pretty standard, but a few were actually pretty interesting, things I hadn’t even thought of. That was pretty cool.
Another thing it claims to do is automatically apply the “best” titles and descriptions to your videos. Honestly, I didn’t really trust it to do that, so I just manually picked the ones I liked the best and applied them myself.
- Got off the waitlist.
- Tried the title generator – it was hit or miss.
- Description generator was also a mixed bag.
- The video ideas feature was actually pretty helpful.
- Didn’t trust the automatic application feature.
Overall, I’d say Agent Gold is still a work in progress. It has some potential, especially with the video ideas feature, but the title and description generators need some serious tweaking. I wouldn’t rely on it completely, but it might be worth checking out if you’re looking for some inspiration or want to brainstorm some new video ideas.
I’ll keep messing around with it and see if it gets any better. I mean, who knows, maybe this AI will eventually figure out the secret to YouTube success. Until then, I’ll just keep doing my thing and hope for the best.
Oh, and one more thing. This Agent Gold thing is a subscription-based tool. So yeah, you have to pay for it. Just keep that in mind before you get too excited.
So there you have it. That’s my experience with Agent Gold so far. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but hey, that’s the life of a content creator, right? Always trying new things, experimenting, and seeing what sticks.
