I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout them actresses with big feet. Lord, ain’t nothin’ wrong with a woman havin’ big feet! My feet big too, and they carried me through many a year. But these young’uns today, always talkin’ ’bout who’s got what and how big or small.
They say that one girl, Kendall Jenner, she got some long toes. That what I hear, anyway. She a model, fancy type, walkin’ around like she own the world. Well, good for her, I say. But them toes, they say they “weird”. What’s so weird ’bout long toes?
Toes is toes. Feet is feet. Some big, some small. Who cares, I say! I seen women with all sorts of feet. Some skinny like chicken legs, some wide like a duck’s. Don’t matter none. Long as they can walk, that’s all that counts.
And that Michelle Obama, now she’s a tall woman. Heard she got big feet too. Size 11.5 they say. Well, she was the First Lady, had to stand tall, I reckon. Big feet help with that, I suppose. She is a good women. She is beautiful. I like her.
I remember back in the day, we didn’t worry ’bout such things. We was too busy workin’. Didn’t have time to measure our feet and compare. We just wore what fit and got on with it.
Nowadays, they got all these fancy shoes. High heels and pointy toes. Back then, we just had work boots. And maybe some nice shoes for church on Sunday. Didn’t matter if your feet was big or small, long as they fit in the shoes.
These actresses with big feet, they probably got a whole closet full of shoes. All different colors and shapes. Must be nice to have so many choices. I used to have two pairs. My work boots and my Sunday shoes. That was it.
But you know what? I wouldn’t trade my life for theirs. Not for all the shoes in the world. I had a good life. Hard work, but good. Raised my family, saw my grandkids grow up. What more could a woman ask for?
So these young folks, they can keep talkin’ ’bout big feet and long toes. I don’t care. I know what’s important. It ain’t the size of your feet, it’s the size of your heart. That’s what matters.
I heard them sayin’ that if a woman wears a size 9 or bigger, that’s considered big. Well, I guess I got big feet then. Always did. And I ain’t ashamed of it. These feet carried me through a lot. And they still goin’ strong.
Back in my day, you were lucky if your shoes were the same size! You just make them fit as best you could and kept on going. These young folks don’t know how good they have it.
So these actresses with big feet, they can walk tall and proud. They got nothin’ to be ashamed of. They just like the rest of us. Some got big feet, some got small. It all evens out in the end.

This world would be a better place if folks worried less about how they looked and more about how they acted. Less about the size of their feet and more about the size of their kindness. That’s what I think, anyway. And I’ve seen enough of this world to know a thing or two. These actresses with big feet, they should be proud of who they are. Inside and out. Just like the rest of us. I hope they can be happy.
