Okay, so I’ve been wanting a new bag for a while, something classy but also practical, you know? I did some digging around and decided a leather messenger bag was the way to go. They just look so timeless, and I figured it would last me a long time.
First, I had to figure out what kind of leather I wanted. Turns out, there’s a bunch of different types! After reading a ton of articles and watching some videos, I learned that full-grain leather is the best quality. It’s the most natural-looking and supposed to be super durable. So, full-grain it was!
- Spent hours looking at different brands online.
- Narrowed it down to a few that used full-grain leather.
- Read a bunch of reviews to see what other people thought.
Then came the fun part – choosing the actual bag! I wanted something that could fit my laptop, a notebook, and a few other essentials. Not too big, not too small. I also wanted a classic design, nothing too trendy that would go out of style in a year. I decided a single color is better for me.
Actually Buying It
Finally, I found one that I really liked. It was a beautiful, deep brown color, with a simple flap closure and a long adjustable strap. So, I decided to visit a store in Brooklyn, somewhere on 51st St, I think. I pulled the trigger and bought it! It was a bit of a splurge, but I figured it was worth it for something that would last me for years.
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I’m totally in love. It’s so comfortable to carry, and it looks even better in person. Plus, the leather is already starting to develop a really nice patina. I can tell it’s just going to get better with age.
It took me some time to find it, but it worths every second. I am so happy with my new bag. It carries everything I need, very practical, and super stylish. Every time I use it, I feel like a movie star.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure in finding the perfect leather messenger bag. Hope this helps anyone else out there looking for a new bag!
