Okay, so I’ve been meaning to put together some anti-ageing gift sets for my friends, and I finally got around to doing it. It took a bit longer than I thought, but it was worth it! I wanted to share my little adventure with you all.
First off, I started by making a list of my friends who would appreciate these gifts. I thought about their skin types and what they usually like. Most of them are into skincare, so I figured this would be a good idea. I decided to go with a theme for each set, to make it a bit more personal.
- For my friend Sarah, I went with a “rose” theme because she loves anything rose-scented.
- For Emily, I picked a “travel” theme since she’s always on the go.
- And for my bestie, Lisa, I chose an “ultimate beauty” theme because, well, she deserves the best!
Next, I started looking for products. I remembered seeing something about No7 sets being on sale, so I checked those out. Turns out, they had this “Ultimate Beauty 9” set that was more than half off! What a steal! I grabbed one of those for Lisa, obviously.
I also browsed around for some other stuff. I found this brand called PREVAGE that had a “Turn Back Time” 4-piece gift set, which sounded perfect for anti-ageing. I snagged that for my mom because she’s been wanting to try that brand.
For Sarah’s rose-themed set, I found a few different rose-scented skincare products. I picked a cleanser, a toner, and a moisturizer that all had rose in them. I also added a cute rose-shaped soap, just for fun.
Emily’s travel set was a bit trickier. I wanted to find mini versions of popular anti-ageing products. I managed to find a travel-sized serum, a small eye cream, and some sheet masks that were perfect for on-the-go. I packed them all in a cute little travel bag.
After I had all the products, I started putting the sets together. I used some pretty boxes and tissue paper to make them look nice. I also wrote little notes for each of my friends, explaining why I chose those specific products for them.
Putting it all together
Honestly, the whole process took me a few days, between researching, shopping, and assembling everything. It was a bit of work, but seeing the finished sets made me so happy! I know my friends are going to love them. And for myself, I stick to a pretty simple routine, honestly. I walk a lot and do some other exercises, eat healthy with lots of fruits and veggies, and I always, always wear sunscreen. SPF 30 or more every day! Oh, and a good serum and eye cream at night really does wonders, you know?
Anyway, that’s my little anti-ageing gift set adventure. I hope this gives you some ideas if you’re thinking of doing something similar. It’s a fun and thoughtful gift, and it’s always nice to treat your loved ones (and yourself!) to a little bit of self-care.
