Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to try out this whole eyebrow tinting thing for a while now. I mean, who doesn’t want fuller, more defined brows without having to fill them in every day? And after seeing a bunch of people online raving about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow products, I figured I’d give it a shot. So, I hopped online and ordered their Volumizing Tinted Brow Gel.
When the package finally arrived, I was pretty excited. I ripped it open and pulled out the brow gel. It’s this little tube with a brush applicator. The gel is kind of a mousse-like texture, which I thought was interesting. I had watched a few tutorials online, so I had a basic idea of how to apply it.
- First, I cleaned my brows to make sure there was no makeup or anything on them.
- Then, I started brushing the gel onto my brows, starting from the inner part and working my way out. I used short, upward strokes, following the natural direction of my brow hairs.
- I noticed that the gel was pretty buildable. I could add more for a darker, more dramatic look, or keep it light for a more natural vibe. I went for something in between.
After I was happy with how they looked, I had to just sit there and let the gel dry. This was the hardest part because I’m so impatient. The instructions said to wait for a bit, and that the longer you wait, the darker the color will develop, but it will stop after 15 minutes. I think I waited around 10 minutes. I also followed what I read online, that is to give the second brow an extra minute or so before I removed the mixture. I used a timer to keep track. Then, I gently wiped it off. The first time I did it, I freaked out a little because my brows looked way too dark, but after a few hours, the color settled down, and they looked pretty good.
I’ve been using the brow gel for a few weeks now, and I’m actually really liking it. It definitely makes my brows look fuller and more defined, and it saves me time in the morning. I also noticed that the gel has a nice hold, so my brows stay in place all day. I try not to over-groom them, since I read that too much brushing can lift the tint. So, I just brush them into place and then set them with the gel.
I’m still experimenting with different shades and application techniques, but overall, I’m pretty happy with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Volumizing Tinted Brow Gel. It’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a great way to get natural-looking, long-lasting brows. The best part is that it lasts for a whole day, probably up to 24 hours, based on what I read on the box. So yeah, I think I’ll be sticking with this brow tinting thing for a while. It’s definitely a game-changer for me!
