Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to try out this “Amoureuse” perfume for a while now. I kept seeing it pop up, and it sounded intriguing. “Amoureuse”, the name itself just sounds, well, romantic, right?
I finally got my hands on a bottle. I ordered it online, It wasn’t super expensive, which is always a plus. I mean, who wants to drop a ton of cash on a perfume they’ve never even smelled before? Not me, that’s for sure.
When it arrived, I was pretty excited. I ripped open the package, and the bottle itself was simple, nothing too flashy. I gave it a little spritz on my wrist and, man, it was something else. It was definitely floral, but not in an overpowering, grandma’s-attic kind of way. It had this fresh, springtime vibe. I read somewhere that it’s supposed to be inspired by the Empress from the tarot deck, which I thought was kind of cool. I’m not really into tarot or anything, but it added a bit of mystique to it.
I wore it around the house for a day, just to see how it settled on my skin. It definitely lasted a good while. I could still catch whiffs of it hours later. I even asked my boyfriend what he thought, and he actually noticed it without me having to shove my wrist in his face. He said it was “nice” and “not too strong,” which, coming from him, is high praise. He is really not into strong perfumes.
I also decided to wear it to work, I got a couple of compliments from coworkers. Someone even asked me what I was wearing because they liked it so much. So that was a win!
My Thoughts
- Scent: Floral, fresh, with maybe a hint of something sweet.
- Lasting Power: Pretty good! I could still smell it after several hours.
- Overall Impression: I really like it! It’s become one of my go-to scents. It’s feminine without being too girly, and it’s just pleasant to wear. It made me feel a little more put-together, you know? It was just a little spritz of something special to make me feel good.
If you’re looking for a new perfume, I’d say give “Amoureuse” a try. Especially if you like floral scents that aren’t too heavy. You might just fall in love with it, like I did. This is not a “Chanel” but it is really good. I feel a little bit like that Empress card now, whatever that means. Anyway, go check it out.
