Okay, so, like, I’ve been wanting to mess around with astrology stuff for a while now, and I finally just went for it. You know, just to see what all the fuss is about. The title of my today’s sharing is “justastrology”. I mean, it’s not like I’m suddenly going to start basing all my life decisions on where the planets are, but I figured, why not? It is just for fun and I am curious about that.
First off, I started poking around online to get the basic idea. What did I do at first? I googled! Turns out, astrology is basically just looking at where the stars and planets are and figuring out how that might relate to what’s going on down here. It’s like a big cosmic puzzle, and we’re just little pieces in it.
Then I spent some time trying to find someone who could teach me the ropes. I mean, there’s so much out there, right? Different zodiac signs, houses, aspects… it’s a lot. I did not choose a physical instructor, instead, I watched some videos online, I watched a bunch of videos, and they were actually pretty helpful. They broke down the basics of each zodiac sign and what the different planets are supposed to represent. I just watched them all without any specific order or plan.
After that, I tried to, you know, actually apply this stuff. I found out what my sun, moon, and rising signs are. It was kind of cool to read the descriptions and see how much of it actually felt like me. It was easy to get them, I just typed my birthday and born time into a website, then I got them. My rising sign is what people see when they first meet you, your first impression to others.
- Sun Sign: This is your basic personality, the core of who you are.
- Moon Sign: This is your inner self, your emotions, and how you react to things.
- Rising Sign: Also called the ascendant, this is the mask you show the world, how others see you.
And then I started looking at my friends’ and family’s charts too. That’s where it got really interesting. I could see how certain aspects of their personalities matched up with their astrological signs. I did not do too much on it, but I checked my parents, my sister and some of my friends. And it was pretty cool to discuss this with them and get their thoughts.
Honestly, the whole experience was way more fun than I expected. It was not as complicated as I imagined before, I just did what I wanted to do without any learning plans, searched for something I felt interesting and learned about it, watched some videos. It’s like a new way of looking at yourself and the people around you. I’m not saying I’m a total convert now, but it’s definitely given me some food for thought.
If you’re curious about astrology, I’d say go for it. It’s not about predicting the future or anything, but it can be a fun way to learn a little bit more about yourself and the people in your life.
At last, I think astrology is more of a tool for self-reflection than anything else. I still do not believe it, but this experience is quite interesting.
