Okay, so I’ve been trying out this Alfaparf Keratin Shampoo lately, and I figured I’d share my experience with it. I’ve used their other stuff like the Semi Di Lino Diamond Illuminating shampoo, that’s a good one, but this keratin line is new to me.
Getting Started
First off, I got the Alfaparf Milano Keratin Therapy Lisse Design set. It comes with both the shampoo and the conditioner. Each bottle is 8.45 oz, seems like a decent size. I heard it’s supposed to be good for keeping your hair smooth, especially if you’ve had a keratin treatment done at the salon.
Washing My Hair
I started using this shampoo a couple of weeks ago. I’ve heard it doesn’t have any of those sulfates or parabens, which is always a plus. The first time I used it, I made sure to really work it into my hair. Rinsed it out, and then put on the conditioner. Left that in for a few minutes while I did other shower stuff.
After Shower Feels
After getting out of the shower, I noticed my hair felt pretty soft, not heavy or anything. My hair is usually a bit frizzy, but it seemed a little more tame after using this. It says somewhere that it’s supposed to help with detangling, and I guess it did. Brushing was smooth, less pulling than usual.
Long-Term Observations
I’ve been using this stuff for a few weeks now. My hair does seem a little stronger. I used to have these annoying broken ends, but I’m noticing less of that now. They say keratin is good for making your hair more resilient, and I think I’m seeing that. I also noticed that the effects of my last salon keratin treatment seem to be lasting longer, which is pretty awesome.
Mixing It Up
I did try using the Alfaparf Semi Di Lino Moisture Nutritive Mask once with this shampoo. I heard it complements the shampoo well. That was a good combo, felt like a mini-spa day for my hair. My hair felt super soft and hydrated after that.
Overall Thoughts
- Pros: My hair feels stronger, looks smoother, and my salon keratin treatment seems to be holding up better. Plus, it’s sulfate and paraben free, which is great.
- Cons: Honestly, I haven’t really found any downsides yet. It’s a bit pricier than regular drugstore shampoos, but for the results, I think it’s worth it.
So yeah, that’s my take on the Alfaparf Keratin Shampoo. If you’re looking for something to keep your hair in check, especially after a keratin treatment, this stuff seems pretty legit. It’s been working out for me, anyway.
