This here Addition Elle, you know, that store. I needed to find one near me, I tell ya. My old clothes, they just ain’t fittin’ right no more. Needed somethin’ new, somethin’ that fits a body like mine. Not like them skinny minnies, bless their hearts. I got curves, you see. So, I was thinkin’, where’s that Addition Elle near me? I went lookin’ for it, I did.
Used to be, there was one right down the road. Not no more though. They shut ‘er down, moved it somewhere else I reckon. It was a sad day, I tell you. It’s hard to find good clothes, especially when you ain’t a size two. But that Addition Elle, they had good stuff. Real good stuff. Sturdy, you know? And they made you feel good, not like some of them other stores that look at you like you’re some kinda…well, you know. They had nice people workin’ there, too, at that Addition Elle store.
I heard they was all gone, though. Shut down, like I said. But then, my neighbor, she told me somethin’. Said they ain’t gone gone, just moved. Said you could find ’em at another store now. The sister store or somethin’. I don’t rightly recall the name, but I know it ain’t Addition Elle, that’s for sure.
So, I got lookin’. I did what any of us would do, looked it up on my phone. I ain’t no dummy. I know how that internet doohickey works. I searched for that Addition Elle near me. And you know what? That internet, it’s a smart thing, I tell ya. It showed me all the places where I could maybe find some of that Addition Elle clothin’ and some stores.
- There’s one over yonder, ‘cross town.
- And another one, a little further out.
- Even found one way out in the boonies.
Ain’t that somethin’? They got ’em all spread out now. I don’t think they even use that Addition Elle name. I typed it in, Addition Elle, you know, and it just showed me other stores. They’ve got maps and everythin’. I looked at that map, and I saw all them little red pins. Each one a place where I might find me some new clothes. I was lookin’ for Addition Elle locations, and that’s what I got, sort of.
Now, I ain’t driven in a while, but I figured, maybe I could get a ride. Or maybe I could take the bus. I saw somethin’ on that internet about buses, too. Said which ones go near them stores. It’s all complicated, but I’m learnin’. If I want that Addition Elle store, I gotta figure it out, right?
They got all sorts of information on that there internet. They got the times the stores are open, which is good to know. I don’t wanna go all the way over there just to find the doors locked. And they got them phone numbers, too. I could call ’em up, I suppose, ask ’em if they got what I’m lookin’ for. That way, I don’t waste a trip, you know. If you’re lookin’ for Addition Elle hours, the internet’s got ’em.
I remember, they used to have this one dress at Addition Elle. It was blue, with little flowers on it. Real pretty. I always wanted that dress. Maybe they still got it, at one of them other stores. Maybe I’ll call and ask. It’s worth a shot, ain’t it? I’ll be lookin’ for that Addition Elle near me, or at least, where I can find their clothes.
This whole thing, it’s a lot of work just to find some decent clothes. But I reckon it’s worth it. A woman’s gotta look her best, you know? Even if she ain’t as young as she used to be. And those clothes from Addition Elle, they always made me feel good. So, I’m gonna keep lookin’. I’m gonna find that store locator and get to the bottom of it.
It ain’t easy, this gettin’ old business. But you gotta keep up with the times, I suppose. Even if it means learnin’ how to use that darn internet. But I’ll tell ya, if it helps me find my Addition Elle, then it’s all worth it. Yep, I’m gonna find it. I just know it. I’m gonna keep searching for that Addition Elle, even if it takes me all day. And who knows, maybe I’ll even find that blue dress with the flowers. A girl can dream, can’t she? That internet is a powerful thing. I searched for Addition Elle near me, and by golly, I’m gonna find it, one way or another.
