Alright, so, you wanna go out with me, huh? Lemme tell ya, I ain’t no fancy gal. Don’t expect no highfalutin stuff. But if you’re lookin’ for a good time, well, maybe we can make somethin’ work.
First off, we gotta figure out what kinda “goin’ out” we’re talkin’ about. You wanna eat? That’s easy enough. We can go grab some grub somewhere. Nothin’ too fancy, mind you. Just good, plain food. You know, somethin’ that fills ya up. Like, maybe we go to that diner down the street. They got good burgers there, and the pies ain’t half bad neither. That’s what I call “startin’ off simple,” ya know? Just gettin’ to know each other over some food.
Now, if you’re tryin’ to be all romantic and stuff, well, I ain’t used to that. But I seen them fancy folks on TV, and they do things like go to them champagne bars. Sounds expensive, if you ask me. But hey, if you’re buyin’, I ain’t complainin’. Just don’t expect me to know which fork to use or what them fancy words mean. “Romantic date idea,” they call it. I call it a chance to try somethin’ new, long as it don’t break the bank. And please, no tiny portions on a big plate, I want food that I can see and that actually fills me up, got it?

- Picnic? (If the weather’s nice)
Speakin’ of fancy, I heard tell of folks goin’ on picnics to watch the sunset. “Epitome of romance,” they say. Sounds kinda nice, I guess. We could pack some sandwiches and find a spot with a good view. Long as there ain’t too many bugs. And you gotta bring a blanket, ’cause I ain’t sittin’ on no hard ground. Whether we just met or been together forever, watchin’ the sun go down is always pretty. But remember, it ain’t about the fancy words, it’s about just bein’ together. And no tiny sandwiches either, make ’em big and full of stuff, alright? Don’t go cheap on the food part, I like to eat good, I need my energy you know.
Now, if you’re bored of the usual dinner and a movie, well, I’m with ya there. Movies are alright, but sometimes you just wanna do somethin’ different. Like, maybe we go for a walk? Or we could go to that festival thing they got downtown. I heard they got good music and even better food there. And that way, we get to talk and get to know each other better, without just staring at a screen. Sometimes that’s better than any fancy dinner.
I ain’t gonna lie, somethin’ about watchin’ the sunset together always seemed nice. Findin’ a pretty spot, cuddlin’ up a bit (not too much, mind you, I ain’t that easy!), and just enjoyin’ the view. Then we could go get some dinner, somethin’ we can both afford. Or, if you’re handy in the kitchen, we could cook somethin’ up at home. That’d be nice too, somethin’ cozy and personal. Cookin’ together can be fun, as long as you don’t make a mess. And if you do, well, I guess we’ll just have to clean it up together. It’s all part of gettin’ to know someone, right?
And hey, if all else fails, there’s always that candlelit dinner thing. “Classic for a reason,” they say. Light some candles, put on some music, and just enjoy each other’s company. It don’t gotta be nothin’ fancy, just somethin’ that makes us feel close. It’s all about making that cozy feeling, ya know? And a good meal, can’t forget the good meal. Intimate atmosphere, they call it. I call it just plain nice and comfortable.
